c# String.equalsIgnoreCase() is returning false when it should be true?
I'm working on a program using a menu driven program in C# that is supposed to count the words. The input in the C:\Users\User\Downloads\input.txt file looks like:
| 1. The | count
And that's it, all on one line. The program doesn't care about line breaks or whatnot, just that it is on the same line. I'm trying to count how many words are in that line. My program looks like this:
static void Main(string args)
string input = @"C:\Users\User\Downloads\input.txt";
int count = 0;
string array = File.ReadAllLines(input);
string word = array;
foreach(string word in array)
Console.WriteLine("word count = " + count.ToString());
This is a very simple example of what I 0b46394aab
